About the Cruise Ship

Carnival Venezia

Cruise Ship Overview

135,225 Gross Tonnage

4,090 Guest Capacity

1,061 Length In Feet

1,424 Onboard Crew

It's a long way from Venice to the U.S., but Carnival Venezia makes it feel like the two are next-door neighbors. You're going to find that all that stile Italiano truly spans continents.

What can you expect to find in this ship? Well, there’s more than a little Italy in this one — that’s why we’re calling this new type of cruising Fun Italian Style™. It starts with the Venice-inspired atrium Piazza San Marco, the onboard flavor and flair continues at the three-course Marco Polo and Canal Grande Restaurants, La Strada Grill™ and its Italian street food, plus fusion spots Tomodoro™ (Mexican-Italian, yum!) and Guy’s Burger Joint (new burgers with Italian flavors — also yum!). And in authentic ristorante style, the elevated Italian of Il Viaggio. Sip well at bars that each specialize in their own thing: complex and sophisticated cocktails at Amari™, bubbly stuff (plus snacks and coffee) at Frizzante™, frozen everything at Rococó™ and fine Italian wines at Carnevale Bar & Lounge™. There’s great entertainment at the red-velvety Teatro Rosso and its Playlist Productions™ shows, plus Gondola Lounge was inspired by the famous canals of Venice. Terrazza staterooms are a whole new way to stay in style and comfort, all in a great location close to amenities like the exclusive Terrazza Carnevale, a private terrace deck made for lounging, sipping, and fun, day or night!

There’s also a lot of the classic Carnival fun that repeat cruisers ( ciao!) know and love. Deliciously familiar flavors come from spots like Bonsai Teppanyaki™ and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse™, while celebration spots include Piano Bar 88 and Serenity Bar, and relaxation happens at Cloud 9 Spa™ and Serenity Adult-Only Retreat™. For the kids, there are spaces just right for their age like Camp Ocean™, Circle “C”®, and Club O2®. And outdoors, get ready for a very splashy WaterWorks™ and SportSquare™ featuring a ropes course, jogging track, mini golf, and outdoor fitness center.

So as we were saying… Carnival Venezia and all this Fun Italian Style are sailing now. Andiamo!

Deposit & Rates

Deposit Amount

  • $55 Per Person Single Occupancy ($5 non-refundable processing fee included)

Double Occupancy Rates

  • 1494 Per Person - Balcony Cabin

  • 1019 Per Person - Interior Cabin

Single Occupancy Rates

  • 2980 Per Person - Balcony Cabin

  • 1930 Per Person - Interior Cabin

Rates may vary based on cabin availability and sales at the time the cabins are assigned.

Cabins rates above are for Deck 6 - 7C category

The first and second guests in each cabin are booked at the standard full fare. Additional guests (third and fourth) are offered at a lower rate, which often works best for children.

If you’re registering more than two guests in a cabin, your reservation will start at the double occupancy rate. Your first payment will be based on this amount. Once your rooms are assigned, we’ll send you an updated invoice with the adjusted rate, and your final balance will be updated accordingly.

Important Details to Know:

  • Travelers will need to decide among themselves who will be listed as the third and fourth guests. Urban Chic Travelistas does not divide the reduced rate equally across three or four adults—this is something that must be handled privately within your group.

  • For comfort, we recommend no more than two adults per cabin. The third and fourth will sleep in bunk beds, which are best suited for children. In some cabins, there may be a sofabed available, but it is not guaranteed.

  • A limited number of adjoining cabins may be available for families traveling with older children. We will do our best to place the cabin rooms as close as possible if adjoining rooms are not available.

  • If a cabin includes guests under 21 years old, an adult (age 25 or older) must be listed on the reservation. However, you may rearrange the cabin assignments once you've checked in and boarded the ship on your own.

  • Any group amenities earned are typically only extended to the first and second guests, since they are booked at the full fare.

  • For any refunds due to the third and fourth guests, only the amount owed at their reduced rate will be refunded. Any additional reimbursements decided within the group must be arranged privately.

Urban Chic Travelistas strongly advises carrying a passport booklet for potential cruise interruptions, such as medical emergencies or missing the ship at a port of call. Please note that a birth certificate, driver's license, or U.S. Passport Card is not an acceptable travel document for re-entry to the U.S. by air. Refer to Carnival Cruise Line's guidelines for the acceptable forms of travel documentation outlined below.

Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise. Even though a guest has completed registration using Online Check-in, it is still the responsibility of the guest to present the required travel documents at the time of embarkation. Guests should check with their travel agent and/or government authority to determine the travel documents necessary for each port of call. Any guest without proper documents will not be allowed to board the vessel, and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. Carnival assumes no responsibility for advising guests of proper travel documentation.

U.S. Domestic Cruises

For cruises that begin and end in the same U.S. port, the following WHTI-compliant documents are acceptable for cruise travel. Please note that if the cruise visits Colombia or Greenland, a passport book (valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel) is required. A passport card with the same validity is also acceptable for cruises to Colombia.

  • U.S. Passport Book

  • U.S. Passport Card

  • State Enhanced Driver's License

  • Certificate of U.S. Naturalization

  • Native American Indian Card

  • US-born citizens may also use a birth certificate (issued by a government agency) accompanied by a government-issued photo ID; a Mobile/Digital version of a photo ID is not an acceptable form of identification.

A passport book (valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel) is required for cruises that visit Greenland.

A passport book or passport card (valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel) is required for the following cruises:

  • Cruises that begin and end in a different U.S. port

  • Cruises that visit Colombia, provided they depart from and return to a U.S. port

If you do not have a valid passport, please CLICK HERE to either apply for a new or renew your passport. It can take up to 16 weeks to receive your passport. Although this may be the most you can expect to wait to get a passport back, you should make every effort to apply as early as possible.

Is travel insurance required?

HOSTED GROUP TRIPS

Travel insurance is required for all participants, which much be secured no later than the final payment due date.

CLIENT TRIPS

We highly recommend that everyone secure travel insurance to protect their investment and for unknown incidents that may require you to cancel your trip, flight delays cancelations, trip interruptions, or medical emergencies, however, it's not required.

If you decline to secure travel insurance we will require you to sign a travel insurance waiver. You will also be responsible for handling any travel issues that would have been ordinarily covered via travel insurance. Please also take into consideration that should you have a medical emergency your medical insurance at home more than likely will not cover you in a different country. You will be required to settle all hospital/emergency care costs at the time of service.

Will my payments be automatically processed?

If you're on an autopay plan your payments will be automatically processed per the due date schedule. Otherwise, you will need to submit your payment manually.

You will receive email reminders before the payment is processed. We also suggest you place a reminder on your calendar so you're aware of when the payments will be processed.

Can I make additional payments or pay off my balance early?

Of course! We welcome you to make additional payments as often as possible so you can pay off your balance early. Should you have a balance left on the payment installment due date, the remaining balance is what will be due. If you're on an autopay plan, the remaining balance will only be processed on the due date.

You can also pay off your balance before the final payment due date.

What happens if I can't make my payments on time?

There is a 7-day grace period after the missed payment installment due date to make the payment without a penalty.

The reservation can be reinstated with a $100 reinstatement fee and the outstanding payment amount due.
